IMPACT DANCE ADJUDICATORS was created to help dance competitions easily find their next judging panel. Our judges are in-demand, professional adjudicators, teachers, and dancers, who have prior experience behind the table, as well as vast knowledge in multiple styles of dance. The judges selected to be represented by IDA are required to go through a pre-screening process which evaluates their knowledge in multiple forms of dance. We are the first and only service in the industry to offer pre-screened, background judges to dance competitions nationwide.

In 2014, professional dancer, educator, and in-demand judge Courtney Ortiz founded IMPACT DANCE ADJUDICATORS (IDA) to address the need for qualified judges in the competitive dance industry. Courtney's vision was to provide more opportunities for judges while ensuring fair job expectations and create an easier way for Competition organizations to find and secure professional, experienced judges. Over the last 10 years, IDA has expanded to offer our services to over 40 different competition and convention companies. In addition to our judging roster, we have branched out to offer a judge's blog, a popular dance podcast, and our online judge's critique service. The future of IDA is bright, and we look forward to continuing to make an impact in the dance competition world.
