EVENT IS OFFICIALLY SOLD OUT!
The full-day event will kick off with a donation-based JAZZ master class with Making the Impact’s own Courtney Ortiz!
​
This 1 hour class is open to intermediate and advanced-level dancers ages 9+ and will take place at Sunlight Studios' beautiful dance space. Dancers must pre-register for class with a suggested donation of $10 per dancer to help support our podcast. Day of walk-in registration will be available for $15. Jazz class with Courtney will include a warm-up, across-the-floor progressions, and a fun jazzy combo! All class participants will receive a Making the Impact enamel pin as a bonus gift for coming to class! *Class is not a requirement to attend our live podcast recording.

After class is complete, it’s time to make your way to the newly renovated Capezio Flagship store 3 blocks away.
Once you arrive, you will receive a complimentary light lunch provided by Capezio for you, your dancers, and all attendees joining the live event. Enjoy refreshments and light bites on site from 12:30-1:30 pm.

It’s now time for the event you’ve been waiting for, Making The Impact’s LIVE Q&A Podcast Recording!
Sit back and enjoy the conversation and don’t forget to get your questions prepped about the competitive dance world! Your podcast hosts Courtney and Lesley will be running the show with a live audience offering attendees the opportunity to ask personalized questions throughout the event.

The event will be live-streamed for viewers from around the world to tune into and also ask questions. If you have a question you’ve been dying to ask a dance professional, now is your chance to have it answered! This podcast episode will be recorded and published on a future Making the Impact episode in Season 5! All attendees will receive a Capezio-sponsored swag bag with lots of gifts and goodies as well as some Making the Impact items and coupons from IDA! The live recording will run from 1:30-3:00 pm.

Once the recording has wrapped it’s time to mix and mingle with other podcast fans and the dance community!
Meet Courtney and Lesley for photo ops and one-on-one chats, network with other dance professionals, dance parents, and the local dance community. And of course - get your shopping on at the Capezio Flagship store to stock up on new dancewear, dance shoes, and competition essentials for the dance season!
